Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh To Come Worldwide This Month

Windows Phone-packed handset owners must wonder when the carriers or the manufacturers will push out the next variant of the OS. Now some details have been revealed claiming Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh codenamed as Tango will be rolled out by the end of this month and will stop updating the phone by the end of June. The details refer to all countries and carriers, though there is always a risk to miss the update because of carriers’ attitude towards the platform and a certain device.

Anyway, Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh worldwide update has been started to be pushed out quietly and there are some lucky ones getting it. This is not a major update, however, so if you still have not got it, there is no reason to be concerned with. Though on the other hand, this version of Windows Phone is known for a lot of changes including support for many languages, low-end hardware, dual-core processors and so on. Thus those who get it will ensure a level up for their handsets, but if even you are out of the list, the more important question that must bother you is when Windows Phone 8 Apollo will reach to you.

On the whole, there are a couple of handsets running Windows Phone 7.5 Tango that have not been launched yet. They are the Nokia Lumia 610 with its 256MB of RAM and the ZTE Mimosa. So maybe it’s better to wait for them and then decide whether it deserves to wait for the update or not. I mean, there is a chance this version will be more useful for the abovementioned handsets, rather than for the current models.
